Gary Wenzel - Guitar
Playing for 38 years, has
studied with an impressive lists of Jazz Greats- Tal Farlow, Jack
Wilkins and Joe Cohn. He has performed with Ken Gehret, Dave Kincaid
an excellent keyboardist and Marty Bowas and was part of a feature
show with BCTV on music. Gary has worked with various bands on the
East Coast including Bill Goodman (Drums), Steve Gilmore (Bass),Steve
Laspina also a bassist, and Cecil Payne (Baritone Saxophonist).
Gary has taught Jazz
Workshops at Penn State University and Albright College and teaches
guitar and bass at Fred's Music Shop, Reading, PA.
As part of his
contribution to the community, Gary recently finished a benefit
concert at The Abe Lincoln Hotel, Reading, PA to raise money for
Cancer. It was a great night of Jazz music from all the local Jazz
performers in the area. |
